Melayna's Senior Prom

 As soon as we got home from Morgan's graduation, Melayna gathered up her dress and all of her hair supplies and then she immediately left again as she was meeting her friends so that they could get ready together.  Then they would spend the rest of the evening taking pictures and eating dinner together before heading over to the school for a fun evening of laughter, friends, and dancing of course!  Oh, and you can't end your prom night without a trip to the local Culvers!!

The two older girls and I had to leave Saturday afternoon to drive to Cincinnati for Marissa's marathon that was taking place the next morning, so I wasn't there to take any pictures of the group before they headed out.  I was sad about that but Melayna said that one of the girls in their friend group had arranged for a photographer so she would send us plenty of pictures after it was all over.  

Unfortunately for the girls, just having a nice camera doesn't make you a great photographer and most of the pictures that she took were too bright or too dark.  They were disappointed for sure, but I'm sure they all still had a really fun time -- and there are a couple of pictures that will work to remember this occasion.

Melayna sent us these three pictures that she had on her phone... the first is of her finished hair...

...and then two pictures from the prom and after prom as she poses with friends.

Despite spending almost an hour taking photos with the photographer, here are the best ones that they were able to salvage with some really heavy editing.
