Besides being a Christian and becoming Noel's wife, being a mother has certainly been my next biggest blessing in life. I remember proudly announcing to my fourth grade class that I wanted to be a Mom when I grew up and then after the teacher told me how very smart I was and that I could be anything, I said that I guess I could also be a doctor. LOL But seriously, being a mom was the very first job that I ever truly wanted and something I began praying for as a teenager. I will never take it for granted and I'm forever grateful to God that these four call me Mom.

On this Mother's Day, we enjoyed lunch together with Noel's mom and brother's family and then after lunch, we sat down as a family of six and celebrated Morgan's birthday together. Unfortunately, Melayna had to go to work, but then after she got home, I asked them if they wanted to go on an evening walk with me. We walked a couple of miles on the greenway trail and Nolan serenaded us with musical numbers on the entire walk.

The three girls went in together and bought me a cute Owala water bottle in the hopes that I will continue drinking more water and Morgan and Marissa made me cute handmade and heartfelt cards. Melayna stopped at the store on her way home from church earlier in the day but she said that the only flowers left were almost dead already so she thought I would appreciate her saving her money and Nolan told me that if he had any money, he probably would have bought me something. It was all very heartfelt and I had a good day.

And then, just because I'm not sure where else to put these pictures... I'm posting these pictures here. Marissa and Nolan thought it would be funny to act like Wii characters when Morgan came around the corner from the laundry room, so they stood like this for a couple of minute just bouncing back and forth until she came out and saw them. I just love how well all four of the kids get along and how they can make each other laugh.
And then just two other random pictures from this past week.
